Kaitlyn's Top Reads (With links)

I love a good mix of self-help, motivational, and inspiring story-lines. I love when a book leaves me feeling fired up and stoked on life. I love when a book makes me feel things. For the sake of this list, I'll include some of my all time favourites that I've already read, as well as some that are on my list. Enjoy!

The Course of Love - Alain De Botton

Highly recommend that everyone reads this. It's not as cheesy as it sounds. It's so valuable to all relationships in your life and understanding why you act a certain way or why others say certain things. Good stuff!

The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho

I know, anytime anyone asks for recommendations for books, this one is always mentioned the most. It's a super quick read and you'll leave feeling like you can do anything.

The Tao of Pooh - Benjamin Hoff

Give this one a chance. It takes a few chapters to really understand how it's written but once you grasp the format, the lessons within are pretty neat.

Shoe Dog - Phil Knight

Oh yeah, this is a good one. It's about the story of Nike (previously called, Blue Ribbon). The book is written by the founder and about the struggles and doubt that he encountered along the way.

Becoming Supernatural - Dr. Joe Dispenza

This one is cool. You have to be open minded to really grasp the potential that this book can have on you. It's a little more spiritual than the other ones I've recommended but oh man this book is GOOD!

Light Is the New Black - Rebecca Campbell

This book might not be for everyone, but if you're in to manifestation and achieving your full potential in this crazy life then, I highly recommend giving this a read.

How Not To Die - Michael Greger, M.D., FACLM

I'll be honest, I listened to this book on audible but I pulled over on the side of the road many times to write stuff down. I actually listened to the entire book twice through just so I could grasp more of the information that is loaded into this book. I want to go back and read this book properly because I learned so much just by listening. If you're curious about how to get the most benefits out of the food you're eating then definitely check this one out.

If you've read any of these books, or have some recommendations for me otherwise, let me know on Instagram (@KaitlynDickie)! Happy reading :).
